I’m backed from Singapore!

WWohohoo!! I’m backed from Singapore, an eye opening experience indeed.  I’m so glad I’ve made the choice, and it happens all miraculously, it’s not a long term planning kinda trip, it’s so spontanous yet fruitful experience.  Here’s my sharings~

The Planning
I saw Zu’s msn saying “In Singapore”, so I was like kinda amazed and feel so fun if can go Singapore, straight away that day Zulee heads green light that I can stay at her place, with water heater and aircon provided.  On that day itself I strive to get leave from Intel and Starbucks, it all turns out well in one day all settled and I feel this trip is going to be very possible.

The flight
So I booked my flight with MAS, from Penang to Singapore.  Now I know sitting plane is much more worth it than sitting bus though it may be cheaper by 70% of the fare, but I could not afford to waste 70% of my time of going there. 

The Trip
Cleanliness
My first impression when I entered through the imigresen and kastam, was that I feel I had entered into another planet.  So, I fed myself on the most fresh air and clean environment you can get on earth.  Everything is so clean, everyone (mostly) are groom to their tip-top best.  I even saw muscular soldiers patroling around in the airport.  Probably it’s the 2nd cleanest in Asia after Japan.  MRT was very efficient and fast, people here are more well-mannered in terms of crowded queue.

AirPort
The airport was HUGE!  Changi airport also known as one of the world’s leading world class airport, consist of several terminals 1,2 and 3.  Regardless they also have a low-cost terminal.  However these terminals are well-connected through the skytrain with no transport fare, you get to travel around conveniently.  My flight MAS landed on T2, so I carried my heavy luggage around and to try out the skytrain, so I went to T3.  WOW! Beautiful scenaries, so many DFS (Duty Free Shop) and many other convenience at your grabs, just pay SGD money converted from Malaysian Ringgit (OUCH!)

Zoo
Going to the zoo was a nostalgic one.  I remembered when I was very young, me my dad, and mum went to the Singapore zoo.  That time my 2nd sis had not come out yet, hehe.  When I entered the zoo, I still could remember some places that I’ve been.  It’s really a moment of emotion and remembrance, it’s a very well-worth trip I could say. 

Merlion
All this while Singapore has always bombarded me with the Merlion images, and now I get to see them in real-physical-world.  And now I know the lion’s eye look so cute, and it’s white pearl body made from pieces of marbles (I think).  The original one is just about taller than us one to two feet length, while behind it was a huge Merlion, few months ago was strucked by lighting.

Tua-Pek Visit
I lost my way actually to visit my uncle, over-walk and was completely exhausted.  But I enjoyed my chatting session with my cousin and uncle auntie.  The last time I saw them was 10 years plus ago.  It’s great to hear my cousin’s successful stories, they have now doctorate title and working very successfully in Singapore. 

Zulee’s Cooking
I’m so glad that I can stay with my ‘Wifey’, get to eat home cook food which saves me alot of SGDollars.  Curry fish with kat-tao, and brinjal plus Zulee’s recipes.  Thanks I really am’ full till like after eating a buffet. hehehhe

CHCSG
It so happened that my trip falls on Easter celebration weekend!  One of the best moment I can brag about.  I get to see Ps. Kong in person and CHCSG drama production LIVE!  All these years I can only watch the Easter production online, but now I am there! In person!  And I even attended the same service twice (how greedy am I), one in Jurong West and another in EXPO.  I would say I travel alot in SG with MRT, total up the fare I guess I spend quite alot if converted, though I don’t have a clue how much I spent on transportation, haha!

Sentosa Island
Went to underwater world, very very nice indeed.  But it’s smaller than the one in Langkawi.  Hey man I get to touch the stingray, and holding starfish, puff fish etc.  We are lookinig into quality not quantity ok… teethehehe

Museum (Asian Civilisation Museum)
One of the most boring place to be.  Maybe not my preference, but I get to see huge statues date back in ancient time, regarding the chinese, indian, malay cultures.  High class building, clean and easy to get lost (LOL).  But we spent quite long inside reading histories.  Oh well, might be a more nicer museum I’ve seen.

Summary
Overall, I enjoyed the trip very much.  6 days is too little I feel, I wish I have more holidays!  Thanks for reading my long-winded post… hehehe… *ruthee signed off!

As I ponder back my trip in Singapore
I could only describe in one word “Blessed”
Sometimes in my mind I could remember
The vivid memories, every details looks and smell
Of their Chinese Fried Rice and chicken ever so big portion

I remember spending SG dollar was not a pain
But when exchanged to RM, ouch I felt
The people I met, the things I see
Was all so different feeling it gives
Compared when I was back home

It is one of my year 2008 best achievement
Getting to enter to CHC-SG physically
After longing to to go there since 4-5 years ago
One day, in future, I shall go there again
Experiencing open heaven manifested on earth
To be equip and take what God has blessed
To let others be blessed

Bank account

Good morning fellow folks!  been not blogging for almost half the month, reason: work fatique effect; no inspiration no motivation; as a result believe that mc2u faithful blog readers had stop visiting, always saw ‘us againts the world’ you tube pic… lol

Ok, today I shall share my understanding on relationships with people.  Everyone of us attains a ‘love bank account’.  When we get to know one person, literally we had opened a bank account for that person as a way of including them in our life’s journey.

Each is measured by ‘love units’.  When we receive positive feelings, love units will be deposited into them from us.  When the bank account flourishes, deeper friendship or even intimacy of relationship can get closer and closer.  Just for example falling deeply in love with someone is due to the bank account has reach your requirements to be in love.  Maybe some people receive a little love and fell in love easily, others may need more love units and vice versa.

Most of the time we see relationships fail between husband and wives, friends, BGR, or even family relationships.  This is due to when there are cirtain circumstances which creates tense or does not meet the opposite partner’s needs, the love bank account will be deducted, slowly and silently one day an argument will occur, worse still the bank account amounts to zero and the relationship is no longer being restored.  Same goes to an affair, nobody gives a namecard to a stranger and tells him/her: “Hi, lets have an affair”.

Affair starts very innocently, first you get to gaze upon the person’s attractive look, next you enjoy each other’s company, then you all spend more time at work / mutual recreational activities, conversation with openness and slowly did you realized that you had fallen in love with somebody you should not have in the first place.  Maybe the person is marrid/attached/etc…  So it is very important for husband and wives to keep their relationship sparkling, by avoiding adding / deposits love units to other people more than their partners.  In all things we have to make our priorities right and clear.

Not only this applies to lovey-lovey relationship, but this also implies to family members and our friends.  Avoid deducting love units from peoples account, deposit more love to people by showing kindness of act, even the smallest thing can make a person’s day, little love units added all in a long run can enriche a person’s relationship.  So let us always think of creative ways to enrich our relationships with one another, depositing instead of withdrawing love units from each other, giving is always a blessing compared to taking.  *cheers!

KL Experience

KL is so nice, I hope I can stay there but I still feel Penang is much more economical in terms of accomodation and food, also entertainment.  (developing now).  There’s no place like home I tell you, but we need to see the outside world and progress in life, and not staying in our comfort zone for too long, eitherwise it be hard for changes.

But one thing about KL, I just love the club.  I went to this club Euphoria in Sunway, it was cool!!!  Music was loud and nice, DJ did the great job.  We danced like there’s no tommrow.

IKEA has always been the regular spot for me whenever in KL.  It takes me 2 hours to be there by public transport, total RM2 only going and back.  Three busses required, 2 of them can recyle it’s fees, and 1 of it is a free shuttle. 

What’s more, I like CHCKL to the max.  Pastor preached a great sermon, was greatly impacted.  And this was my first time shook pastors hand, wohoho!  Anyway, I miss my church friends so much, get to see them again after 2 months.

Also, going to Segi college, makes me feel like a student again.  Nearly everyone asked me what course I’m studying, where I’m from etc etc.. it’s fun..  I miss schooling time in a way though…

Subang Parade marks also a great memory for me, because that’s the first shopping mall I visit last year.  Remembered Zuzu and Wil brought me there, it was cool.  This time get to go out with my ’gawd sis’ with her motorbike, quite dangerous but she’s damn good at it…  Transport wise, accomodation wise, save some money already.  But when come to the pussy eye my sis’ still student, sigh .. ok lah I belanja you..  lol

It’s cool to come KL for five freakin’ days.  After I reach Penang I only can miss KL again.
Still I love you Penang, muax muax… Penang has all the ‘luxuries’ I can have like hot bathing water, home cooked food, office computer with air conn, and my free coffee center Starbucks.. yum yum…  Penang and KL I love you both!!!  Overall I’m glad this KL Trip brings another writes another chapter of faith, hope and love in my life

Working ‘berturut-turut’

Working ‘berturut-turut’ just makes you wanna’ ‘urut-urut’. But I do enjoy working now, it’s like something I did in regularly and becomes a usual habit. Tired perhaps, but I felt that I had done many things in a day, sometimes.

The past two days I’ve been working 16 hours, after 8pm I straight went to Starbucks work till midnight.  Next morning continue office work cycle and Starbucks again.  It’s really not tiring at all now, maybe the espresso helps (*wink).

Sacrifices made?  Yeap, serving in Church… playing guitar and doing my usual hobbies.  Many things I used to do before I seldom does now, but still will be looking foward for my off days to practice and practice to be a better guitarist!

A new chapter of life begins, learning new things each and every day, meeting new faces and people around the world everyday.  In Intel, I meet people from Israel, India, US, China, Japan etc… through the phone of course.  And in Starbucks, I find we have many tourists who transports with Aeroline with people across like Singaporeans, Iraqians, Australians etc etc…  It’s interesting to exchange culture.

Sometimes we may feel unfulfilled in life, not satisfied and felt that we achieve nothing.  Not because we do not have a job or there is no homework to do, but really… to be satisfied in life is to find ways and opportunities to be a blessings to others, seeking in what we can give not not solely on what we can take from others.

When the giving goes, it comes back to us
